William Hill is a popular European Poker room owned by one of the largest betting firms with same name. The players are mostly made up by sports book players and casino customers in Europe.
William separates itself from the other top poker rooms with their generous monthly bonus (£25), the relatively high number of short-handed tables (max. 6 players), the super high-stakes, the large number of non-US players and the $1/$2 minimum stakes at games.
The playability at William Hill is quite great for a player looking to play at several simultaneous tables. The functionality, besides the betting, is not as good and could be a bit improved (statistics, notes, tournament standings, etc).
There are only a few downsides playing at William Hill. Worth mentioning are that 1) the interface and software is average, 2) the game volume at full 10 player tables is a bit low (more short handed 6 player tables), 3) online support is often not live at late hours in the US, and 4) tournaments are mostly lower to mid stakes.
They give a monthly £25 bonus, per year the bonus is then £300 only for playing a couple of raked hands each month.
In sum, all our 5 editors are very positive about William Hill Poker.
